I would love to see a class for kids that are younger. My daughter learned yoga at preschool and is begging to find a place to learn more. she is 5 and going into kindergarten. i’m new to yoga and can’t find classes she and i can attend together.

Hi, Tonya! She is welcome to come to our elementary kids class, which starts next week, or you guys can both come to the family yoga class that happens on Fridays at 9:30 am now!

Tonya – I apologize; your comment somehow slipped through the cracks. Although boys are not as likely to join a class as girls are at the tween age, until college where it definitely is used by athletes, we do have some boys who join us. The best way to get them to be okay with it is to get a few friends from team together and do a class. (-: I hope that helps; and, of course, anyone is welcome! I am currently doing private sessions with another baseball player in high school.

We don’t currently have classes for children whom are not school age. Check back with us, as this is something we could offer in the future!

What is your starting age for a birthday party? My son loves practicing Yoga with me (I take Power Yoga on Tuesday nights with Traci), and after every class he wants to participate in new poses with me. He will be 5 in April. Have you had a 5th birthday party before? Thanks!

      Hi, Bea!

I am working on the schedule now; it is going to be a 6-week session to make sure enough people are signed up/committed for each class. If you’re not signed up for the newsletters, there is a link at the bottom of the page where you can sign up. It will be mid-January. There is also no age restriction on her joining a regular class in the meantime, if she is comfortable taking classes that adults are in also.
